Trinity K. Copeland, 19, died Sunday, December 15, 2024, in Wichita, KS. She was born December 30, 2004 in Hutchinson, KS, to Michelle Abernathy and Shane Copeland.

Trinity graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2022. While in school, she enjoyed gymnastics, dance and volleyball. Trinity was a CNA for local nursing homes. She loved spending time with her family and friends, drawing and painting. She was an animal lover, especially her cat Cheeto. She attended Life Church in Wichita. Trinity was extremely photogenic and loved doing photo shoots as often as she could.

Trinity is survived by: mother, Michelle Abernathy (Steve Dauber); father, Shane Copeland (Emily Alexander); sisters, Taylor, Teagan, Kyann and Kaci Copeland; niece, Portlyn Copeland; uncles, Chad (Bonny) and Michael (Paula) Abernathy, James, Launy (Stephanie) and Edwin Copeland, and Steve (Tammy) Wilcox; 6 Pack aunts and uncles; great-uncle, Scott Reed; great-aunt, Carol Pfister; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Brenda Reed, Konard Abernathy and James "Jim" Kimble; paternal grandparents, Marquetta and LeRoy Copeland; great-aunt and great-uncle, Jim and Jackie Edwards

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may sign the book Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitation with the family present will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary.
