Troy A. Coil, 53, of Hutchinson, died December 14, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born February 13, 1970, in Hutchinson, to Ron and Phyllis (Solida) Coil.

Troy was a jack-of-all-trades. He loved to fish and barbeque. He was so confident in his ability to barbeque, he joked he could bake a cake on the grill, which he later did. Troy loved his family, friends, and dogs.

On November 24, 2011, he married Julie Meserve in Hutchinson.

Troy is survived by his: wife, Julie Coil, Hutchinson; son, Michael Coil, Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Kaylene and Larissa Coil, Texas; four step-children; numerous grandchildren; sister, Dawn Coil Wauer, Amarillo, TX; and niece, Michelle Lemens, Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Ronald Coil; a nephew; and step-son.

Celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Julie and Troy's home at 1601 E. 5th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67501. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Troy A. Coil Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
