Valetta Faye Williams, 54, of Hutchinson died March 12, 2011, at Hutchinson Care Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Feb. 14, 1957, in Ava, Missouri, the daughter of Bill and Lorene J. Volkland Headings.

She attended school in Ava, and later Hutchinson. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Hutchinson, and she was a devoted Christian and had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

On April 7, 1984, she married David Williams in Ava, Missouri. They were later divorced.

Survivors include: her daughter, Jessica McCleary and husband Cody, Mansfield, Missouri; brothers, Donald Headings and Gary Headings, both of Hutchinson, Clifford Headings, Mayfield, Kentucky, and Michael Headings, Newton.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Doug Wyatt presiding. A visitation will be Monday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be at Fairlawn Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be sent to Horizons Mental Health, sent in care of the Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
