Vicki Jo Smith

Vicki Jo Smith, 76, died April 19, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village. She was born April 23, 1949, in Hutchinson, to Luther Truman and Vera Nell (Smith) Osborne.

Vicki graduated from Nickerson High School in 1967 and University of Kansas in 1973. Vicki married Roger A. Smith on April 29,1978 in Hutchinson. Roger died July 10, 2022. She was an elementary teacher for McCandless and Graber Elementary Schools until she retired in 2019 and was an active member of Eastwood Church of Christ.

Vicki is survived by her son, Jedrik Smith and fiancé, Felicia, of Independence, MO, and brother, Pete Osborne and wife Louisa of Shell Knob, MO.

Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Roger Smith.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
