Vickie Beth Befort, 76, of Hutchinson, died August 16, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.  She was born October 13, 1943, in Lyons, to George and Rotha Lee (Grenell) Pryor.

Vickie graduated from Great Bend High School and attended Kansas State University.  She retired from Collins Bus Corporation.

On March 5, 1964, she married Alvin 'Al' F. Befort, in Manhattan, KS.  They shared over 42 years of marriage, prior to his death on September 29, 2006.

Vickie is survived by: daughters, Allison (Brett) Bruch of Mount Hope, and Lisa (Scott) Stoss of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Dalton and Sami Stoss, and Jackie and Jake Bruch; great-grandson, Connor Bruch; sisters, Dede Collier and Brenda Carpenter; brothers-in-law, Keith (Annette) Befort, and Curt (Janice) Befort; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Scott) James, Nancy McCleary, Lois Befort, and Donna Befort; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Alvin 'Al' Befort; and brother, Dub Pryor.

Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Church of the Holy Cross, 2631 Independence Road, Hutchinson.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church, both officiated by Father Michael Kerschen. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Great Bend Cemetery, 4500 Broadway, Great Bend, with Father Louis Trung Dinh Hoang officiating.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
