Obituary

Vickie Lynn Demoret, 50, died Dec. 19, 2005, at her home, Hutchinson.

She was born April 15, 1955, at St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Jackson and Francis J. Armstrong Blanton. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was manager of Town and Country Village Mobile Home Park.

She belonged to Christian Living Ministries, Hutchinson.

On March 25, 1972, she married Daniel Lee Demoret at Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Melinda Demoret, Topeka, and Stephanie Brewer and husband, Brandon, Hutchinson; a son-in-law, David Goldsberry, Hays; a brother, Wayne Blanton, Salina; and six grandchildren, Danielle Demoret, James Goldsberry, William Demoret, Christopher Pruitt, Parker Goldsberry and Andrew Pruitt.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Grant Leon and Jackson William Blanton; a sister, Francis Irene Blanton; and a grandson, Bryce Zizumbo.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Bible Baptist Church, Turon, with the Dr. Kenneth Grief and Melvin Hooker presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson.
