Vickie Renee Elsey, 58, died Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 6, 1961, in Garden City, the daughter of Chester W. 'Bud' and Erma J. (Giesaking) Marker.

Vickie graduated from Garden City High School in 1979 and attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University and Oklahoma State University.  She worked as General Office Administrator for NCA, Hutchinson. Vickie enjoyed playing softball, riding horses, and shopping.  Her constant companions were her dogs, 'Spinner' and 'Scooter'.

On May 12, 1989, Vickie married Virgil E. Elsey in Garden City. He survives.

Also surviving are: sister, Diana Lyons (Ralph), Hutchinson; brothers, Jeff Marker (LeeAnn), Hutchinson, John Marker (Michelle), Haslet, TX; nieces and nephews, Ty Lyons, Columbus, OH, Tara Lyons, Hutchinson, Luke Marker (Melanie), Fort Collins, CO, Loghan Currier (Dylan) Wichita, Jake Marker (Alexa), Wichita, Lauren Marker, Monroe, LA; Joshua Marker, Monroe, LA; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rodney Marker.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 E. 12 ^th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Henry Blickhahn officiating.  Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday thru Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
