Vickie J. Flores, 68, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 18, 2021, at her home.  She was born February 21, 1953, in Hutchinson, to Addison B. and Carol (Friesen) Smith.

Vickie graduated from Nickerson High School, in 1971.  For 48 years, she owned Vic's Dog Grooming, pampering and grooming thousands and thousands of dogs.  Vickie was a Godly woman, always putting her family, friends, and customers' needs ahead of her own. She loved her family unconditionally, and adored her five grandchildren.

Vickie is survived by:  children, Matthew Flores (Tara) of Blue Spruce, MO, Andria Flores (Santana Montalbo) of Hutchinson, and Brad Seeger of Kansas City, MO; siblings, Moni Sue LaLonde (Mike), Linda Goldberg (Cliff), all of Rio Verde, AZ, Rick Woolley of Hutchinson, and Peggy Ruebke (Brent) of Nickerson; grandchildren, Aidan, Makena, Nayeli, Santana, and Nayana; Matthew and Andria's father, Larry Flores; and her beloved fur-babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents.

Cremation has taken place.  Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday through Monday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family present Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
