Victor Carson Wood, Jr., 78, died November 15, 2020, at his home.  He was born September 13, 1942, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Victor Carson and Mary Belle (Tibbits) Wood, Sr.

Victor was a graduate of Guthrie High School, Guthrie, OK, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Oklahoma Law School.  He served in the United States Army in Vietnam.  Victor worked as a workmen's compensation and injury attorney and retired with over 30 years of service.  He was a member of Mensa International and the National Rifle Association.

On May 12, 1989, Victor married Jacqui Kay Scott in Las Vegas, NV.  They shared over 31 years of marriage.

He is survived by:  wife, Jacqui Wood of Hutchinson; stepchildren, Holli (Chuck) Boyles of Pittsburg, and Travis (Kristy) Scott of Hutchinson; step-grandchildren, Tanner Smith, Savannah Smith, Benjamin Scott, Samuel Scott, and William Scott; and step-great-grandson, Cohen Smith.

Cremation has taken place.  Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501, is in charge of arrangements.
