Viola Elain Blevins, 65, died March 29, 2015, at Hutchinson Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born June 19, 1949, to Everett T. and Viola Mae Cape in Hutchinson.

Viola graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Adela Hale Business College. She was a homemaker.

On Feb. 8, 1976, she married Ben Raymond Blevins in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: children, Shawna Hopkins and husband Troy, Ted Seems and wife Deann, and Cindy Stropes; grandchildren, Trenton Hopkins, Alicia Seems, Braden Seems, Benjamin Stropes and Joseph Stropes Jr.; brother, Joe Cape, all of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, LeRoy and Bobby Cape; and sisters, Linda Ybarra and Sharon Samms.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor Luke Helmuth presiding. Burial will follow in Murdock Cemetery, Murdock, Kan. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary.
