Violet Perle Wilson, 86, died April 11, 2015, at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. She was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Nickerson, to Rudolph Earnest and Amy Matilda (Lewis) Reinke.
She was a 1946 graduate of Nickerson High School and a bookkeeper in sales for Carlson's Manufacturing. Survivors include: sisters, Florence Poncin and husband Bernie of Lyons, Irene Dick of Vancouver, Wash., Lucile Woods of Lawrence; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; and two brothers.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson, with Jimie-Wray Mead presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
