Obituary

Virginia Frances "Ginny" Hulet, 88, died Feb. 16, 2007, at Wesley Towers, Hester Care Center.

She was born Aug. 7, 1918, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Milford Willis and May Verne Allphin Hartmann. She graduated in 1936, from Hutchinson High School, attended Oklahoma College for Women, Chickasha, Okla., the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas State University, Manhattan, and the Adela Hale Business College, Hutchinson. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was owner and CEO of M.W. Hartmann Manufacturing Co., Inc., and president of Jayhawk Manufacturing Co.

She belonged to First Presbyterian Church and the Salt City Miniature Club.

On May 25, 1945, she married Frank Alexander Hulet in Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Kyle F., Hutchinson; a daughter, Ginger Zyskowski, Hutchinson; a cousin, Robert T. Hartmann, Bethesda, Md.; three grandchildren, Michael Zyskowski, Snohomish, Wash., Andrew Zyskowski, Poulsbo, Wash., and Jamie Zyskowski, Seattle, Wash.; and seven great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Willis Hartmann.

Private family services will be held, with the Rev. Tim Soule presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
