Virginia Hendrickson, 86, died December 26, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 9, 1923, in Lyons, Kan., the daughter of Everett and Bertha Schwartz Poland.

Virginia had worked at a dress shop when living in Rogers, Ark., and at Western Foods in Hutchinson.

She was a member of Union Valley Bible Church and was very active at Elmdale Senior Center.

In 1966 she married Everett Hendrickson. He died January 30, 2001.

Survivors include: companion, Clifford Swepston, of the home; two sons, Robert Lynn Loutzenhiser and wife Carolyn, and Larry Loutzenhiser and wife Penny, all of Hutchinson; sister, Dorothy Byard, of Lyons; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant son, Logan Loutzenhiser.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Steve Hodgson presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be at a later date in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson.

MEMORIAL GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Valley Bible Church, in care of the mortuary.
