Virginia Ruth Ratzlaff's Obituary
Virginia Ruth Ratzlaff, 83, died March 30, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Kinsley, Kan., to Bruce Stacy and Ollie May (Work) Martin.
She graduated from Kinsley High School in 1949 and went on to Halsted Nursing School where she became a registered nurse.
On Jan. 7, 1956, she married Donald Eugene Ratzlaff in Halstead, Kan. He died April 28, 2000. Survivors include: children, Larry Ratzlaff and wife Ruth of Orlando, Fla., David Ratzlaff and wife Tammy of Galva, Kan., Kasie Morrison and husband Tom of Hutchinson, Kan.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hildenbrand of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Burrton Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Goertzen presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family to receive friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dillon Living Center, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
