Virginia Lee Ritcha, 86, died Aug. 20, 2016, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born in Nickerson on Dec. 29, 1929, the first of five children born to Olin Earl and Pearl Louise (Boyer) Ritcha.

Virginia graduated from Nickerson High School and the nursing program at Grace Hospital, Hutchinson. She served as a registered nurse at various locations throughout the United States, including the hills of Kentucky and the University of Baltimore. She completed her career as a nursing supervisor in the Labor and Delivery Unit of Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, California.

Virginia is survived by: two brothers, Bill (Janet) Ritcha of Hutchinson and Norman Ritcha of Nickerson; two nephews; a niece; four great-nephews; two great-nieces and ten great great-nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Eldon and Don; two nephews; and a niece.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, with the Rev. David Denlinger officiating.
