Virginia Rose Williamson, 80, died June 12, 2006, at her home, Salina.
She was born March 1, 1926, in Pitcher, Okla., the daughter of Lee and Ruby May Moats Barnes. A lifetime Hutchinson/Buhler resident, she was an office manager for Williamson-Hankins Welding.
She belonged to Park Place Christian Church, was past officer of the Horseless Carriage Club, was a volunteer at the Reno County Historical Museum, Antique Auto Club, Salina, and managed the Old Mill at the Kansas State Fair for 30 years.
On March 17, 1961, she married Lee Roy B. Williamson in McPherson. He died April 11, 1996.
Survivors include: a daughter, Diana Hoyt, Phoenix; four sons, Dennis Bossemeyer, Hutchinson, Dr. Charles H. "Chod" Bossemeyer II, David O. Bossemeyer and John M. Bossemeyer, all of Salina; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Barnes; and a sister, Delores Carver.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kim Biery presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. The casket will be closed. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Cemetery and Mausoleum.
