Vivian L. Beeghly, 91, died February 20, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  She was born February 7, 1929, in Humboldt, NE, to Roy L. and Lola (Schmidt) Smith.

Vivian was a graduate of Humboldt High School, Humboldt, NE.  She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, and member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

On February 12, 1950, she married Lester G. Beeghly in Sabetha.  They shared over 39 years of marriage prior to his death on March 31, 1989.

Vivian is survived by:  sons, Lynn Beeghly of Hutchinson, Larry Beeghly of Sedgwick, Neal Beeghly of Wichita, and Gregory Beeghly of Springfield, MO; daughter, Debbie Beeghly of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn, Marguerite, and Sue.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband, Lester G. Beeghly; sons, Robert and Kent; daughter, Jan; and brothers, Lee and Max.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary with The Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2020, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, or Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
