Wallace L. "Wally" Andsager, 86, died Sept. 4, 2015, at Haven House, Haven. He was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Plevna, to Roy and Elizabeth (Nusser) Andsager. Wally graduated from Plevna High School in 1948. He worked for Montgomery Ward and retired from Central Kansas Credit Union.

On Aug. 19, 1950, he married Gwen L. Zongker in Hutchinson. She died Oct. 11, 2009.

Wally is survived by: children, Cindy Andsager of South Hutchinson, Dennis Andsager of Hutchinson and fiancé Christy Haynes, Terri Andsager of South Hutchinson, and Tammy Mills and husband Marvin of Haven; grandchildren, Thomas Cooprider and wife Tara of Perry, Brent Cooprider of Kansas City, Mo., Kaylee Andsager of South Hutchinson; and great-granddaughter, Emma Cooprider of Perry.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, sister, Virginia Palmer and husband Raymond, and a brother, Lee Nusser and wife Audrey.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, with Pastor Joyce E. Beam officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven House, or Gentiva Hospice, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
