Wallace Schlumbohm, 82, died May 24, 2011, at his home, Burrton. He was born July 8, 1928, in Alvord, Iowa, the son of Herman F. and Marie C. Moeller Schlumbohm. Wallace was a longtime resident of Cullison, living in Hutchinson for a period before moving to Burrton 10 years ago. He was a retired farmer and driver for Wittig Trucking.
Survivors include: son, Todd, Wichita; daughters, Debbie Nixon, Cheney, Peggy Kroulik, Wichita, Kristy Clark, Pratt, and Lori Leatherman, Wichita; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Paul and David.
Memorial graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday May 31, 2011, in Sunset Cemetery, Cullison. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
