Walter Edward "Eddie" Grovenberg's Obituary
Walter Edward "Eddie" Grovenberg, 63, died Dec. 18, 2008, at his home in Hutchinson.
He was born March 17, 1945, in Nowata, Okla., the son of John Albert and Elsie Brown Grovenberg. He was retired from Stroberg Equipment Company.
On May 18, 1973, he married Bonnie Branton in Reno County. She survives.
Other survivors include: brother, Bill Grovenberg, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Juanita Flowers, Coffeyville and Shirley Fuller, Chouteau, Okla.; niece, Peggy Harrell and nephew, Donald Sykes, both of Coffeyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene, 4290 N Monroe, south entrance, with Chaplain Randall Turner officiating. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas in care of Elliott Mortuary.
