Walter D. Kilpatrick, 62, died April 28, 2024, in Hutchinson. He was born May 15, 1961, in Hutchinson, to Walter W. and Patricia (Zordel) Kilpatrick.

Walter graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1979. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #441 of Wichita.

Walter is survived by: brothers, Michael Kilpatrick of Hutchinson and John Kilpatrick of Texas; nieces, Megan Burrell, Melissa Hayes, and Michelle Vakulenko; aunts, JoAnn Schussler and Pat Kilpatrick, both of Hutchinson; and uncles, Loren Zordel of Hill City and Bob Zordel of Hays.

He was preceded in death by: his parents and sisters, Lisa Kilpatrick and Deborah Shank.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date.
