Wanda Eloise Bell, 74, died June 24, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 2, 1939, in rural Peace Creek, Okla., to Harden and Inez (Hobbs) Cannady.
Wanda was a homemaker, a dietitian at Grace Hospital, and worked at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed working at the JUCO tournaments for 35 years. Wanda was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ, Red Hat Society, and T.O.P.S. On June 1, 1957, she married Luther Doyle Bell in Mangum, Okla. He died Sept. 20, 2010.
She is survived by: sons, Rick Bell and wife Candy, Terry Bell and wife Annette, all of Hutchinson; sister, Helen Williams of Altus, Okla.; brother-in-law, David Bell and wife Diane of Goddard; beloved dog, Frodo; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum, with Jimie-Wray Mead officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family to receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
