Dr. Ward L. Sims, 95, died January 18, 2014, at Thorne Care Center. He was born July 7, 1918, in Stafford, to Ward P. and Leona C. (Anderson) Sims.
On April 6, 1942, he married Edna M. Beard in Minneola. She died December 12, 2002.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Wesley Towers Good Samaritan Fund or to Living Water Ranch, in care of Elliott Mortuary & Crematory 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
