Wayne L. Huntsman, Jr.'s Obituary
Wayne L. Huntsman Jr., 74, died May 29, 2011, at his home in Hutchinson.
He was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Hutchinson, the son of Wayne L. Huntsman Sr. and Opal Louise McMullen Huntsman.
He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1954, and attended Kansas State University. Wayne started his career at Cessna and then worked for Woodworking Manufacturing. In 1976, he started his own business, Huntsman Representation Inc., retiring in 2003.
On Oct. 28, 1998, he married Carol Withington in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: brother, Frank A. Huntsman of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard L. Huntsman.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Fairlawn Burial Park, with Chaplain Randall Turner presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas in care of the mortuary.
