Wayne T. Sapp, age 62, died July 25, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 29, 1951, in Hutchinson, the son of Owen T. and Bonnie Lee Teel Sapp.
Wayne was a former member of the Hutchinson Fire Department and maintenance worker. Survivors include: sons, Matthew of Hutchinson and Lucas of Lawrence; his father, O. T. Sapp of Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Willow Sapp, Kahlil Sanz-Sapp and Ari Sanz-Sapp, all of Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his mother.
At Wayne's request, his body was cremated. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kan. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
