Wesley "Jack" Jacques, 98, died December 16, 2009 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born November 29, 1911, in Valley Center, the son of George Leonard and Pearl Calista Ruble Jacques. He graduated from Cunningham High School in 1931. Jack was a plant manager for Kansas Oxygen, retiring in 1976. He attended Forest Park Presbyterian Church.
On September 7, 1937 he married Bettine Carolyn Miller in Silver Springs, Md. She survives.
Other survivors include: son, Michael Jacques, Belen, N.M.; daughters, Celeste McMullen, Harlingen, Texas, Viva Blakey, Arkansas City; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynne Taylor and sons-in-law, Mac McMullen and John Blakey.
Memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 19th, 2009, at Elliott Chapel, with Reverends Ernest Williams and Bill McConnelee presiding. Friends may sign the book 9-9 today and 9 a.m. until service Saturday.
