Wilda May Owens, 95, died Nov. 26, 2005, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Aug. 3, 1910, in Stella, Mo., the daughter of Orville and Martha Fischgrabe Atwood. A resident of Hutchinson since 1985, formerly of Meade and Stafford, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to the Pentecostal Church, Meade.
On Aug. 4, 1929, she married Percy W. Owens in Granada, Colo. He died Feb. 11, 1987.
Survivors include: two sons, Stephen, Mart, Texas, and Michael, Portland, Ore.; a son-in-law, Lonnie Sidebottom, Hutchinson; two brothers, Omer Atwood, Fowler, Colo., and Eldon Atwood, Juliet, Mo.; a sister, Violet Hoover, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Wilbert; two daughters, Nelda Sidebottom and Annetta Owens; three brothers, Emol, George and Melvin Atwood; and four sisters, Zelpha Lighty, Velma Barker, Euteva "Tevy" Palmer and Alice Creek.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Graceland Cemetery, Meade. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
