Willard George Sampson's Obituary
Willard George Sampson, 86, died Dec. 19, 2013, at McPherson Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Pettisville, Ohio, to George Wesley and Laura Wyse Sampson.
Willard was a teacher, retiring in 1989 from USD 308. He was a lifetime member of KNEA and a member of Community Church of the Brethren.
On June 4, 1950, Willard married his wife.
Survivors include: a daughter; a son; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three step great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Community Church of the Brethren, 1600 N. Severance, Hutchinson, with Reverend Dr. Paul Hoffman and Pastor Ed Switzer presiding. There will be a private family inurnment at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Church of the Brethren or The Cedars of McPherson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
