William B. Corley Jr., 97, of Hutchinson, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born December 21, 1920, in Hutchinson, to Dr. William and Lola (Stutzman) Corley, Sr. Bill graduated from Hutchinson High School and attended Furman University in Greenville, S.C. He owned Bill's Donut Shop in Larned, KS for numerous years. Bill proudly served in the United States Army in the 712th Military Police Battalion during World War II.

On December 31, 1943, he married Dorothy May Stonesifer in Greenville, S.C. She died August 13, 2009. They shared 65 years of marriage together.

Survivors include: daughter, Reneé Lippincott and husband Dean of Hutchinson, KS; daughter-in-law, Gloria Corley of Doniphan, MO; grandsons, Michael Gaughan and wife Julia of Lawrence, KS, Matthew Corley Lippincott and wife Stephanie of Bellevue, NE, Thomas James (T.J.) Lippincott of Hutchinson, KS, and Nicholas S. Lippincott of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Kelley Lippincott-Chura and husband Jamie of Columbia, TN; great-grandsons, Kiernan Gaughan of Lawrence, KS, Miles Chura of Columbia, TN, and Graham Corley Lippincott of Bellevue, NE; and great-granddaughters, Aoife Lippincott of Bellevue, NE, and Louise May Chura of Columbia, TN.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Dorothy; daughter, Deborah Lynn Gaughan; son, William B. Corley III; and sisters, Thelma Leatherwood and Lucile Hall.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Saturday, December 15, 2018. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Missions, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

Memorial service for William B. Corley Jr., of Hutchinson, will be 11 a.m. Friday December 28, 2018, at First Congregational Church, 3410 N Plum St, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating.
