William "Bill" Edward Booth, 73, died Dec. 2, 2013, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Jan. 3, 1940, in Hope, Ark., to Clifton and Florine Neill Booth.
He graduated from Covina, Calif., in 1956. He was in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an industrial engineer for Klipsch Speaker in Hope, Ark. He moved to Hutchinson in 1999 from Hope, Ark.
On June 17, 1978, he married Lynn Carole Galloway in Wichita, Kan. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Larry Booth and wife Teresa of Wichita, Kan., Cliff Booth and wife Tiffany of Santiago, Chile; daughter, Kathy Echart and husband Carlos of Wichtia, Kan.; grandchildren, Andrew Echart, Alexandra Echart, Caleb Booth, Lauren Booth, Brenden Booth, Jordan Booth, Kaylee Booth, Caden Booth; brother, Clifton Booth and wife Mary of Lavern, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sue Twitchell.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Larry Koehn presiding. Cremation will take place following the service. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m., with the family to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
