William E. Glass' Obituary
William E. "Bill" Glass, 63, died Jan. 20, 2006, at his home, Hutchinson.
He was born July 11, 1942, in Hutchinson, the son of James R. and Lois Wanita Robertson Glass Sr. He graduated from Partridge High School and received his degree in business administration from Emporia State Teacher's College. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, he was a self-employed contractor, sold real estate for REIB and retired from Colladay Hardware.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include: two sons, William and Buddy Glass, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Jody Coletta, Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Susan Johnson.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Mark Conard presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place.
Memorials may be sent to the Bill Glass Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
