William J. "Jim" Edgar, 56, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 16, 2012, at his home in Hutchinson. Jim was born July 26, 1955, at Eureka, the son of Eldon and Eloise Lynn Edgar.

He was a longtime Hutchinson resident, graduating from Hutchinson High School in 1973. Jim was an assembler at Cessna Fluid Power and later Eaton Corp. in Hutchinson. Jim married Mila Reyes on Dec. 5, 1981, in the Philippines. They were later divorced. Survivors include: two sons, Kelly Edgar and Andrew Edgar; a daughter, Vanessa Edgar, all of Hutchinson; a brother, Cliff Edgar of Jacksonville , Fla.; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Inurnment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. A register book may be signed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
