William Landon "Bill" Proctor died Saturday, March 12, 2011. He was born Oct. 23, 1921, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Harry T. and Edith P. Proctor.

He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Elizabethand stepson Steven Yadon.

He is survived by wife, Lorna, Hutchinson; daughter, Elizabeth Dirks, Wichita; son, Edward Proctor, Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughter, Theresa Bratcher, Yuma, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; step children, Richard Yadon and wife Mary, Arvada, CO, Estelle Renberger and husband Terry, McPherson, Kathy Helfrich and husband Robert, Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 13 step great grandchildren.

Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, also at the church, with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be made to St. Teresa's Catholic Church in care of the mortuary.
