William Alan Michael Lemens, 2½, of Elkhart, died February 13, 2021, at his home. He was born August 1, 2018, in Newton, to William D. Lemens and Taryn A. McHaley.

'Bob', as he preferred to be called, was a typical rambunctious boy, full of life, who loved playing with his siblings, and brought joy to his entire family.

Bob was in the process of being adopted by his forever family, Joshua and Janelle Jackson, and had chosen a new name for himself, Robert Charles William Jackson.

He is survived by: adoptive parents, Joshua and Janelle Jackson, Elkhart; siblings, Hadassah, Janessa, Addaleigh Jackson; grandparents, Torey Lemens, Hutchinson, Dewayne and Aurelia Jackson, Norcatur, Janet McCue, Hutchinson, Brian Wingrove, El Paso, TX; great-grandparents, Michael McCue, McPherson, Carolyn Conrad, Hutchinson, Inez Jackson, Norcatur; aunts and uncles, Michael Lemens, Tiffany Lemens, Heather Wingrove, Clint McCue (Paige), Kelly Najjar (Rami), Kelsey Janssen (Jesse), Destry Jackson; cousins, Jeremy, Jesse, Alexander, and Matthew Janssen, Eric and Carisa Trexler, Lindsey, Brylee, Kinsley Squires; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by: grandparents, William M. Lemens; great-grandfather, Woodrow Conrad; great-grandparents, Warren and Luella Smith, Forest Jackson; and uncle, Matthew McCue.

Private family services will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 140 E. 30 ^th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021, with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
