William Leslie "Bill" Strawn, 61, of Hutchinson, died June 15, 2023, at his home. He was born October 13, 1961, in Hutchinson, to Howard L. and Nancy A. (Kirkbride) Strawn.

Bill graduated from Tribune High School in 1980. He was the owner and operator of Strawn Garage in Kinsley for over 30 years before returning to Hutchinson. He enjoyed woodworking in his younger days, gardening, cooking and making beef jerky.  Bill's favorite pastime was hanging out at Table Rock Lake.

On May 12, 1984, he married Janet Lynn Vannahmen. They later divorced.

Bill is survived by: his sons, Nick Strawn (Haley Bond) of Ellsworth, Kevin Strawn of Kinsley; siblings, Jim Strawn (Jacque), Dave Strawn (Debbie), Sue Jones (Jim), Tina Woolley (Terran) all of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Elliott Chapel. Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
