Willis D. Harder, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior Dec. 10, 2007, at Elm Grove Estates, Hutchinson.
He was born May 28, 1929, in Sterling, the son of Lawrence Edgar and Emma Louise Strouse Harder. He graduated in 1947 from Inman High School. A resident of Hutchinson since1959, he was a radar technician for the Federal Aviation Agency Radar Tower, Yoder, retiring in 1986, was a TV repairman for Jenkins Music Company, Wichita, and a radio tech for McConnel Air Force Base, Wichita.
He belonged to Union Valley Bible Church, was a very proud Gideon International member, regularly distributing Bibles, was a board member and youth programs volunteer, both of the church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
On Nov. 1, 1953, he married Delia Ann Reeves in Hutchinson. She survives.

Hicks and husband Larry D., Hutchinson, and their children, Travis Smiley, South Dakota, Heather McAbee and husband London, Hutchinson, Cannon Smiley and wife Stacey, South Dakota, and Shawn Hicks, Hutchinson; Sandra Harley and husband David, Waldorf, Md., and their children, Rebekah Warman and husband Steven, Maryland, and Bobby Harley, Maryland; Denise Valdois and husband Michael, Haven, and their children, Dustin Valdois and wife Tennile, Hutchinson, Dasha Carey and husband Aaron, Hutchinson, Levi Valdois and wife Heather, Derby, Melissa Roland and husband Steve, Hutchinson, Jason Valdois, Hutchinson, and Justin Valdois and wife Jeanette, Hutchinson; and Linda Webb and husband Corby, Overland Park, KS., and their children, Alexis Webb, and Jackson Webb, both of Overland Park; a brother, Roy, Wichita; a sister, Marcia Bengston and husband Arvid, McPherson; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Union Valley Bible Church, with Pastor Steve Hodgson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, with military graveside rites conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
