Wilma M. "Sis" Latham, 85, died Aug. 9, 2006, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born June 3, 1921, in Lewis, the daughter of Arlie Ruben and Lottie S. Abrams LoVette. She was a 1939 graduate of Garfield High School. A resident of Hutchinson since 1957, she was a bookkeeper for Hutchinson Iron and Metal for more than 20 years.
She was of the Methodist faith. She was a 45-plus year member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary No. 7271.
On June 16, 1967, she married Lewis Andrew Latham in Fort Scott. He died June 30, 1973.
Survivors include: a son, Keith Harris, Shawnee Mission; a daughter, Marcia Hicklin, Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Warren Harris; and two brothers, Delos and Wilma's twin brother, Wilbur LoVette.
A private family service will be held. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
