Wilma Jean Rampenthal, 67, died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1947, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Howard and Ethel Pate Rampenthal. She was a graduate of Nickerson High School and Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia. Wilma had been a private tutor, part-time receptionist at Hutchinson Hospital and a guest check clerk at Sambo's.

She is survived by: a sister, Janet Woods and her husband Larry of rural Hutchinson; two aunts; four nieces; and six great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
