Winifred V. Koehn's Obituary
Winifred V. Koehn, 87, died Feb. 20, 2008, at Hester Care Center.
She was born June 3, 1920, in Burrton, the daughter of Lyle and Flota F. Parker Jones. She was a 1938 Burrton High School graduate. A lifetime Burrton and Hutchinson area resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to First Congregational Church.
On June 7, 1940, she married Frank Koehn in Wichita. He died June 13, 1984.
Survivors include: a sister, Amy Graber, Hutchinson; sisters-in-law, Joan Armandariz, Halstead, and Julia Becker, Galva; many nieces and nephews, including Peggy Altum, Newton.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Burrton Cemetery, with Pastor Matt Stafford presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow.
Memorials may be sent to, First Congregational Church, Hospice Care of Kansas, or Wesley Towers Endowment Fund, all in care of the Mortuary.
