Yolanda DeLaPaz Castañeda Vasquez, 37, of Hutchinson, died Jan. 17, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Jan. 24, 1973, in Tecuala, Nayarit, Mexico, to Ines and Martha Zepeda Castañeda.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She married Guillermo Vasquez in Dec. of 2005. He survives.
Other survivors include: son, Martin; daughters, Sonya and Yolanda Guadalupe Vasquez all of the home; and numerous family members including her parents in the Durango, Mexico area.
Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation will follow.
Parish Rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.
Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, with Father Juan Garza officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the Yolanda Vasquez Children's Educational Fund in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
