Y'Vonna Marie Krekel's Obituary
CUMMING, Ga. - Y-Vonna Marie Lee Krekel, 52, of Cumming, Ga., passed away on June 6, 2011, at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, Ga.
She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Lee Krekel, father and brother.
She is survived by: loving husband, David Krekel of Cumming, Ga.; children, Katie Morton and husband David of Charlotte, N.C., Ben of New York and Neb., and Clarissa of Cumming, Ga.; her loving mother, Clara; brothers and sisters, Tommy and wife Carol of Beaver, Okla., Jimmy and wife Kathy of Geraldine, Mont., Johnny and wife Kristi of Ashland, Kan., Danny and wife Tammy of Cumming, Ga., Kim wife of Billy Lee, and Donalda Eveleigh and husband John of Ulysses, Kan.; and 17 nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Grace Chapel Church of Christ Wednesday, June 8, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service was at 4 p.m. Final funeral services will be held in Hutchinson, Kan. on Saturday June 11, 2011. The family will receive friends at the Eastwood Church of Christ in Hutchinson, Kan., from the hours of 9 to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Buhler Cemetery.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations to an organization that helped her greatly during her battle with cancer. The organization is called the Turning Point http://myturningpoint.org/donate/.

The Kansas Celebration of Life services for Y-Vonna will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum, Hutchinson, KS 67501. The viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Graveside services to follow at the Buhler Municipal Cemetery in Buhler, Kan. Elliott Mortuary located in Hutchinson, Kan. will be in charge of the final services and interment. Please visit www.elliottmortuary.com to leave a personal message for Y-Vonna's family.
