Zac McAmis, 13, went to be with Jesus on June 6, 2009. He was born July 22, 1995, to Phil and CeCe Morland McAmis. He was a seventh-grade student at Reno Valley Middle School.

He was a member of the wrestling team at the school.

Survivors include: his parents; a sister, Cera McAmis, of the home; grandparents, Joe and Celesta Martinez, and Raymond Ferguson, all of Hutchinson; uncles, Brian Morland, Vern Hinkle, both of Hutchinson, and David W. McAmis, Douglas; and first cousins, Jenna, Jaiden, David Lee, LeAnn, Laurie and Melissa.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Georgia Ferguson; grandfather, David V. McAmis; great-grandfather, Fred Webster; and uncle, Gary McAmis.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Roberto Tamez presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
