Zella Marie (Kornelson) Heim, 87, of Hutchinson, died October 1, 2021, at Hospice House. She was born October 29, 1933, in Hutchinson, to William and Rosella (Warkentin) Kornelson.

Zella was a graduate of Inman High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Conklin Cars for 52 years. Zella loved to spend time at the lake and in her retirement, she spent a lot of time volunteering. She attended Park Place Christian Church in Hutchinson.

On March 6, 1954, Zella married Walter L. Heim, in Hutchinson. They shared 42 years together before he passed away on October 18, 1996.

She is survived by: daughter, Terri Lee (Mike), Hutchinson; son, Mike Heim (Brenda), Hutchinson; daughter, Amy Clarke (Stephen), Las Vegas; grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, and Adam Lee, Crystal Most, Trent Heim, Madison and Wyatt Clarke; great-grandchildren, Kendra, Chase, Alex, Logan, Morgan, Olivia, and Abigail; and siblings, Coralou Cooprider, Ralph Kornelson, and Karen Kornelson.

Zella was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Walter Heim; and brother, Robert Kornelson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor David Dubovich officiating. Burial will follow in North Inman Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
