Obituary

Jeffrey Alan Enslinger, 34, passed away Nov. 5, 2013, in Wichita. He was born July 4, 1979, in Hutchinson, to George and Diana (Buller) Enslinger.

He graduated from Dodge City High School in 1997.

On Sept. 30, 2000, he married Amanda Brown in Hutchinson.

Jeff was a production operator at Airgas in Hutchinson. He loved fantasy football and was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Enslinger; three children, Andrew Alan, Madison Taylor and Kara Ann Enslinger, all of the home; parents, George Enslinger and wife Patti, Diana Carmichael and husband Jerry; brother, John Enslinger; half brother, Christopher Enslinger; stepbrother, Johnathan Brixius; mother-in-law, Jane Brown; father-in-law, Gary Brown; grandparents, Jake and Bonnie Enslinger, all of Hutchinson; grandfather, Gene Schultz of Pasadena, Calif.; best friend, Thomas Baker of Abilene; and many extended family members, friends and co-workers. Jeff was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and Sharon Buller and Donna Marie Schultz.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at CrossPoint Church, Westbrook Campus, 2005 N Hendricks, Hutchinson, with Pastor Andy Addis officiating. In honor of Jeff, and to support his family, feel free to wear your Kansas City Chiefs attire.

Inurnment will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday and the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.

Because of Jeff's love for football and the Kansas City Chiefs, the family suggests memorials be made to Ronald McDonald House in Kansas City, which is a charity supported by the Kansas City Chiefs or to the Enslinger Children's Education Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
