Hutchinson native, Shirley T. Stout, 91, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2019, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born October 6,  1928, in Hutchinson, to Floyd and Lucille (Ackley) Hazelton.

Shirley was a retired homemaker, active in the American Legion Auxiliary, a lifetime member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, and a Commander of the Hutchinson Sky Ryders Drum and Bugle Corps.

On August 26, 1947, she was united in marriage to Robert W. Stout. He died January 1, 1970.

Shirley is survived by: daughters, Bobbi Ramsey (Doyle), of Hutchinson, Lynda Hendrickson (Ron), of Grinnell, IA, and Lucy Brown (Stan), of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Robert W. Stout; and sister, Billie Keast.

Parish Rosary will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 211 E. 5th, Hutchinson, with Mass of Christian  Burial to follow at 10 a.m., with Father Michael J. Maybrier officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may
call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Teresa Catholic Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
